As a consequence, Low Smoke and Fume cables are commonplace; however, in the event of a fire these cables can still release toxic and corrosive gases. It is often confusing to determine the difference between a Low Smoke cable and a Low Smoke Non Halogen cable so we have created a document to help explain the differences.
