Single Pair Ethernet

Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) combined with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Power over Data Lines (PoDL) enables an end-to-end Ethernet network from the sensor to the cloud.

The new SPE technology lowers cost, reduces weight and provides higher bandwidth.

SPE is already being used successfully in the automotive environment. Ongoing standardization and specification activities have the goal to make SPE available for the industrial field as soon as possible. Belden is involved actively.
