Non Armored with Termite Protection
Termite protected CLT cable
The Central Loose Tube constructions without armoring but with termite protection are designed with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) for Universal (Indoor/Outdoor) use. The Nylon (PA) layer is imbedded between two LSZH jackets to ensure fire behavior.
The Outdoor product range with a PE jacket consists of products with different tensile strength. The Nylon (PA) layer is on the outside of the cable.
The Glass Yarns in the design provide the cable the tensile strength, but also give the cable Rodent Protection. All products are available with fiber counts from 2 to 24 fibers.
